The bunker redevelopment project, consisting of reinforced concrete structures built by German military forces toward the end of World War II, was developed by the Municipality of Mesola to enhance an area fundamental to the history and culture of the region.

The name BUNKMEMO is intended to draw attention to the memory contained within the bunkers, which, through video and light installations, will help visitors better understand the importance of these structures.

goNet took on the task of outfitting the interiors of the bunkers, creating the BunkerKit based on a design by Gerardo De Vita. This mobile installation device was specifically designed for the challenging conditions of the site (lack of electricity and high humidity) and allows the projection of multimedia content developed through thorough historical and iconographic research, telling the story of the bunkers without altering the environment or atmosphere of the site.
Thanks to this, the Mesola bunkers have been brought back to life to tell a story that had been forgotten for many years.
