Surgital is Italy’s leading company in the frozen first-course sector, known both nationally and internationally for bringing to the table dishes created from high-quality raw ingredients.
The company had previously experimented with idea and recipe competitions among chefs. For the new contest “Ripieni in cerca d’Autore,” aimed at professional chefs wishing to propose their own recipe, the company introduced an important innovation: web-based management.
“Ripieni in cerca d’Autore” developed online, and goNet handled all promotional activities, creating a highly targeted Facebook campaign together with the company in Lavezzola to maximize results.
This new digital approach simplified the management of the contest for the company and proved far more successful than past initiatives, achieving the excellent result of more than 350 recipes submitted from all over the world.
One of the main reasons for this success is the new registration system: while in the past each recipe had to be sent by email, fax or in paper format, goNet built an online form where participants could register autonomously by entering their personal details and uploading one or more recipes; later, each participant could return to the site to modify or improve previously submitted recipes.
In addition, Surgital could download an Excel file at any time containing all recipes submitted up to that moment, along with participant details. This made the evaluation and archiving process much simpler.
The winner of “Ripieni in cerca d’Autore” received the honor of having their recipe produced by Surgital in 2016, bearing the chef’s signature.

The new Frigo 2000 website, created by goNet, highlights the company’s history, expertise and identity, presenting it as a “home” where users can explore high-performance cooking technologies. Content has been reorganized into an experiential structure, focusing on case histories and intuitive, engaging navigation. The site becomes an “architectural book” showcasing customised solutions rather than a simple catalogue. Its key innovation is the Configurator, which helps clients and architects define needs and priorities while providing the company with valuable insights for future improvements.
