The Come with Us app is part of the M.a.p.s. project (Multisport Against Physical Sedentary), funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Sport program. The goal of the project is to create a multisport methodology capable of combating issues such as obesity, sedentary behavior and drop-out among children aged 9 to 12.
Come with Us is the app designed and developed by goNet that allows users to monitor all activities assigned to young athletes through a single tool, including game sheets and training sessions. The purpose of the app, and its strength, is to ensure constant monitoring and improve athletic preparation.
It is available for both Apple and Android devices, compatible with all smartphones and designed in multiple languages (English and Italian).
Anyone may download the app, but only registered users can use it to monitor the teams they coach. Unregistered users can still view events and the project’s social pages. Within the app, coaches can create teams with different names, age ranges and categorized sports disciplines.
They can access the preloaded Game Sheets and use them to build custom training sessions. Coaches may also create and edit new Game Sheets to further personalize training programs.
Coaches are responsible for adding athletes to their teams and tracking their results. The app allows monitoring of team performance, game sheet effectiveness and training outcomes to understand which activities work best for each age group and sport discipline.
